Printing Physical Books - A New Adventure

Greetings FOBIA Fiends,
We're back again with another update on the progress of FOBIA: Vol 1.
As you may already know...
FOBIA Vol: 1 Digital issue are already available!
Have you had a chance to read it yet? If so, let us know what you think in the comments below. So far we have received a bit of feedback here and there, and from what we have heard, people are loving the book.
We are absolutely, iridescently GLOWING with pride from the positive reviews we have been lucky enough to read from all you fabulous FOBIA freaks out there.
WE love that YOU love the book!
We have also heard from a dedicated passionate core that some of you are waiting ever so ever patiently to read the book, because you want to hold it right in your hands, and experience if for the first time on the physical page.
For those of you abstaining from the digital version, we wanted to share an update on the progress of the physical copies of FOBIA.
First of all, our main goal is to present that coolest, most totally B.A. version of FOBIA that we can, and secondary to making the baddest book on the indie comic scene, we want to put it out fast... like... NOW! But, we have to make sure we get it right. We know that you would agree that fast is good, but perfect is better.
And this book is going to be perfect.
We have been reviewing printing samples, page weights, page coatings, cover types, cover embellishments, foil debossing, serial number colors, everything we can possibly customize, we are reviewing! It's exciting for us to think about how cool these books are going to be. We know this is going to be something our backers will proudly display in their book collections.
To give you all some specifics on where we are: we have finalized the orders and made the full payment to the printers. We are in the final review stages for our pages, soon we we will have our proofs in hand. Once approved, we will await the final product.
Creating this book has been an amazing journey.
Some of you have seen the stories we created, others are going to see them for the first time once they hold these amazing volumes in the their hands. Speaking for the whole team of artists, editors, colorists and letterers, we can say we appreciate all of you more than we could ever express. You're all the reason we created this book; to deliver a comic thrill ride for your enjoyment. We thought this book would be done back in April, but we think once you see what we have put together you will agree it was worth the wait.
Of course we will be back soon with more updates on our progress regarding shipping and delivery of the books, but we wanted to keep you updated on our latest progress and let you know we are still working very hard!

Thank You Page is updated

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to give you a quick update to let you know the Thank You page has been updated on the digital download for FOBIA Vol:1.
If you were a Kickstarter backer who opted into the thank you page, your name is now in the Digital Download of FOBIA and will appear in the physical book.
If you already downloaded the book, you may re-download from the same link for an updated version of the book.
Backers who upgraded their order - "Where is my digital download?"
We have received a few questions from people who have no been able to locate their digital download. If you took the backerkit survey, the digital download is available to you. However, if you opted to upgrade your order to a Hardcover special addition, or added any other items to your order - your payments have not yet been charged and the Digital Download is not yet available to you.
But don't worry! We will be finalizing those charges this week, and you will receive a notification when your downloads are ready. We will keep you updated when those downloads become available.

Digital Rewards are being fulfilled!

Hey Fobia Friends,
Great News! The Digital rewards are being delivered. Finally the wait is over! People can now see everything we've been cooking up for FOBIA Vol 1.
As we speak, people are pouring through their digital copies of Issue #1, the full anthology, as well as the BTS Zine and Horror Media REC list! We can't wait to hear feedback about what everyone thinks!
Corrections Need to be made to the THANK YOU page:
So for our super special, amazing backers who opted to be on our THANK YOU page, we have to let you know that there has been a small computational error. We are still trying to sort out the details, but the Thank You page that is featured in the current edition of the digital issue is out of date and incomplete.
A few of the names need to be adjusted, as per the request of some of our backers. Also, we have noticed a few names are missing. We are currently working to sort out this issue, which arose from some confusion when importing Thank You page data from Kickstarter to Backerkit.
But don't worry! We are working right now to correct the issue! In the next few days we will have all the names corrected and that Thank You page will be 100% accurate. The Physical book will contain the corrected Thank You page, we will also be offering an Updated download file for the digital version of the book.
Think of this as like a little patch we'll be releasing to fix some day one problems.
Again, the current Thank You page was created using an out of date data list, and it was not our intention to release this version, but current version was automatically made available for download through Backerkit before we had a chance to update that page of the book.
Everything else is as it should be, and we will be releasing and updated and fixed version very soon, which will also be reflected in the physical copy.
We appreciate the patience of our THANK YOU page backers. In order for us to make these final adjustments as quickly as possible, we will no longer be adding or customizing any additional names to the thank you page.
Media Rec Lists are out now!
Just in time for Halloween, we hope all of our backers who wanted to grab the media rec list are happy with the Horror Movies, Books, Comic Books and Music playlists we put together for your enjoyment.

One More Day to Adjust your FOBIA order.

Hey FOBIA Fanatics,
We just wanted to let everyone know there is one more day remaining until we lock in the survey responses on Backerkit!
If you haven't already; visit Fobia.backerkit.com to fill out your backer survey, this will give you an opportunity to provide your shipping information and also a chance to upgrade your reward tier.
If you wanted to grab a Hardcover edition of FOBIA, or add your name to our special backer "Thank You" page in the book, this is your final opportunity.
After we lock the surveys you will still be able to update your shipping address, but the additional reward tiers will be closed.
Next step is getting the book printed and shipping them out to our backers.

Hey FOBIA Fanatics, Derrick here and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the overwhelming positivity we have received since we launched Fobia.Backerkit.com
So far, 81% have taken the survey to provide shipping information and also to let us know if you want to upgrade your order to the Special Hardcover edition of FOBIA.
For those of you who don't know, the Hardcover Edition was a stretch goal we hit at the last minute of the campaign, many people missed there chance to upgrade because the option was only available for less than 24 hours.
But thanks to Fobia.Backerkit.com our backers have a 2nd chance to let us know exactly which edition of FOBIA Vol: 1 they would like to receive.
Now in order to get these books out ASAP we are going to have to lock in our exact order count in the next few days, so that means if you haven't taken the survey yet and you want to update your order, please do so as quickly as you can.
Backer surveys will be locked in at the end of the week!
Once we lock in our survey, backers will still be able to update their shipping information, but we we know longer have the Special Edition upgrades available. I wanted to let you all know so you have plenty of time to make the selection you want to get.
